SwopLot Quick Start Guide Please review the following quick start guide to see if your question is already answered. If it is not please contact us.
Homepage If you are not already a member select Register in the top menu of the SwopLot homepage. Upon registration you will receive one free credit, which you can use to list one item. If you are already registered please login on the homepage. If you have forgotton your password then click the "forgot password?" link in the Login window to have your password sent to you. back to top Registration Please fill out this form to register. Required fields are marked with (*). back to top Once Logged in After you have registered and are logged in you will see your user name and your available credit, and a logout link at the top of the page. You will have access to My SwopLot, your personalized area of SwopLot, by clicking the "My Swoplot" link in the top menu. back to top My SwopLot In the My SwopLot area you can post listings, manage your offers, swops, messages, favorites, and feedback. back to top My Listings To view and manage your listings and listing photos select "Listings" in the MySwoplot menu. You will see a list of all of your open listings, and a "List an Item" link that will take you to the form where you can list items. back to top List an Item Clicking the "List an Item" link on your Listings page takes you to this form where you may list your items. Required fields are indicated with (*). back to top My Offers To view and manage your Offers, Click the "Offers" link on the My Swoplot Menu. You will see an Offers Inbox that lists all offers made to you, as well as and an Offers Outbox that list all outstanding offers that you have made to other users. From the Offers Inbox you may Accept or Decline the offer, or send a message to the owner of the listing to ask questions or negotiate shipping, etc... From the Offers Outbox you have a link to Revoke an offer. All offers that have not yet been accepted may be revoked at anytime. Because you may only offer a listing to one person at a time. This revoke feature allows you to revoke an offer that you have made so that you can re-offer your listing. Once an offer has been "Accepted" it becomes a "Swop", and can no longer be revoked. back to top My Favorites To view and manage your Favorites, Click the "Favorites" link on the My Swoplot Menu. You add listings to your Favorites by clicking the "Add to Favorites" link on the listing detail page. back to top My Swops To view and manage your Swops, Click the "Swops" link on the My Swoplot Menu. You will see a listing of your "Swops", all offers made to you that you accepted or all offers you made to another user that they accepted. You will see a "Send Message" link next to each Swop which allows you to communicate with the person you made the Swop with. You will also see a "Leave Feedback" link for each Swop. You may leave positive or negative feedback for the other user. If you have already left feedback then you will see a link that says either "positive" or "negative" and you can view the feedback by clicking this link. back to top My Messages To view and manage your Messages, Click the "Messages" link on the My Swoplot Menu. You will see a listing of all messages sent to you with a Reply link. You will see a listing of your Messages outbox with recent messages you sent. back to top My Feedback To view your Feedback, Click the "Feedback" link on the My Swoplot Menu. You will see your percentage of positive feedback, along with a listing off all feedback you have received. back to top
